Ally had his first camera in his late teens and has been striving to improve his photography ever since.  Originally taking photos with film, he then obtained his first digital camera in 2004.  This offered so much more scope and allowed plenty of attempts with instant results.

Having joined the camera club several years ago, he has seen a dramatic improvement in his images.  His preference is to capture beautiful landscapes, but also likes to take fun photographs.

The club has helped him to consider other genres of photography which he has enjoyed attempting.  Photoshoots have offered one of the best ways to learn new techniques and by entering competitions gain the Judges constructive comments on images.
