I first picked up a camera (a second-hand Zenit, paid for by a paper round), when I was 15 - something my parents felt might help me be less grumpy. I’m not sure if that has worked, but aeons later photography remains important to me. Whilst happy to photograph anything that catches my attention, I enjoy capturing unplanned moments, made possible by simply having a camera to hand - from city streets to the nature world, and anything in-between.
